Refund & Returns Policy

At Sockymate, we want you to be happy with your purchase. Please read the information below carefully to understand our returns, refunds, and cancellation policies.


Returns & Refunds

To be eligible for a return or refund:

  • Items must be unworn, unused, and in original packaging

  • Items must be returned in a resalable condition

  • Proof of purchase is required

Due to hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns on items that have been worn, washed, or opened, unless the item is faulty.


Change of Mind Returns

If you change your mind, you may request a return provided:

  • The item is unworn and unopened

  • It is returned in its original packaging

  • The return request is made within 14 days of delivery

Return postage costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.


Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If your item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order and include:

  • Your order number

  • A clear description of the issue

  • Photos of the item and packaging

We will assess the issue and, where appropriate, offer a replacement, refund, or store credit in line with Australian Consumer Law.


Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method

  • Refunds are typically processed within 3–5 business days after the return is received and approved

  • Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to finalise the refund


Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order:

  • Orders can only be cancelled before they are processed or dispatched

  • If an order is cancelled before processing, a 15% cancellation fee may apply to cover transaction and restocking costs

Once an order has been processed or shipped, it can no longer be cancelled and will need to follow the returns process outlined above.


Pre-Order Cancellations

  • Pre-orders may be cancelled before dispatch

  • Once a pre-order item has been dispatched, standard return conditions apply

If there is a significant delay to a pre-order, you will be notified and may request a refund before dispatch.
